This autumn has been stunning on the glacier. Many caves we could hike safely under has made the last months really magic! The season for daily blue ice hike is over, and the season on Folgefonna will now change. We will get short days with day light and on the glacier we will get snow. The next months are great for our hike we call "Glacier Expedition". This is a 2-days hike, where you beside a great nature experience will learn about the safety margins on the glacier at this time of year. We will very soon open bookings for the "Glacier Expedition" on our web page, stay tuned, and while waiting check some of the pictures from our glacier hike by Yrjan (C) Visithardangerfjord.

It has been in the news today that the ski lift at Folgefonna is bankrupt. Many of our customers wonder if this will have consequences for our guided glacier tours on Folgefonna. We are another company and this do not affect our guided hikes.

This year we start a new concept on Juklafjord Cafe in Jondal. From 22.6, everyday from 16:00-18:00 we arrange "Afternoon Glacier Coffee". We meet at Juklafjord in Jondal, drink coffee, talk about the great hike we had together, or plan the hike for next day!
