Autum on Folgefonna

It's nice days on the Folgefonna glacier now. Almost all the snow has melted away and the glacier is a giant work of art in blue. The water digs tunnels and caves and the ice moves, so we never follow the same routes on the glacier. Our office is constantly changing, this is one of the fascinating things about having a glacier as office! It is however sad to see how Folgefonna is melting, we have to adapt our routes to the melting, but it is always exciting to see a new landscape that has been covered by ice for many hundreds of years.
